For Christmas David had a room in the basement finished so I would have a room to scrapbook and sew. Ever since, David has been talking about finishing the rest of the basement (once David has an idea he doesn't stop thinking about it until it's done). We had a few people give us estimates on the cost of finishing the basement and it was more then what David was thinking. I told him we could wait and finish it later. That didn't stop the wheels turning in Davids head. We got our taxes done and we will be getting almost $5,000.00 back. Just enough to pay off the Tahoe. So, our plan is to pay off the Tahoe and get back into dept and finish the basement. Yesterday they started work. Now that we have started there is no turning back.

Big project indeed! But man oh man, I bet it'll be SOOO nice to have it done!!
Welcome to the new addition. I like finished basements, unless they flood and then unfinished is better. R there any drinks in that bar yet?
