A while ago Aleecia noticed a nest in the neighbors tree. At the time there was nothing inside. Just the other day Aleecia noticed that the nest had these tiny little birds in it. We never even saw the eggs. They are ugly little creatures but at the same time they are so cute. Aleecia is really careful not to touch them and she never comes around when the mom is near. Hopefully they live long enough to leave the nest.

Home Depot "Kids Workshop"
In February for Activity Days we went to the free Home Depot "Kids Workshop". It was so much fun that we decided to go as a family every month. For the month of June the girls built a "valet caddy". Mia has become so independent that she has to glue and hammer all her self. She hasn't quite mastered to glue part but she sure can handle a hammer.
2nd Grade Graduation
Aleecia's class had an end of year parent program. Ms. Dinger showed a slide show of the past school year. David almost cried. This is only second grade I'm not sure if he is going to be able to handle her high school graduation. After the slide show the students got their awards for passing the second grade and then refreshments. Aleecia loved second grade and her teacher but she is excited for the third grade.

Camping
Ever since we bought our camper trailer we have been looking forward to going camping. My parents bought a membership to Camperworld (a private campsite with full hookups). We stayed at the Coalville campsite. Only 30 minutes away from the nearest hospital (in case I went into labor) and less then an hour away from home. We got a site next to the swing sets where Aleecia and Mia spent most of their time. Of course Aleecia made friends and had a fun time crossing the monkey bars. Mia could have lived in the swing. It rained most of the time we were there so we got to watch a lot of movies. In between down pours we were able to go fishing at the little fishing pond at the campground. Only kids and senior citizens are aloud to fish there and only catch one fish a day. Mia has never been fishing before so she loved it. Mostly the girls liked throwing rocks into the pond while Grandpa and Dad tried to hook them a fish. Despite the colder weather Aleecia just had to go swimming in the pool. Luckily the pool was heated and they got a chance to swim around for a while. Even with the rainy weather we had a great time!
